She successfully established Zaibatsu Hair Art nearly 20 years ago and most recently formed Florence, her clothing line with edgy designs based on self-reflection.   Mandy Taylor   Mandy has over 10 years in the hairdressing industry, recently winning the title of hairstylist NZARH of the year.  A farm girl from down south, her love for adventure and travel has taken her around the world. Not long after returning back to NZ, and living in picturesque Te Anau she met her husband Mike and moved to Dunedin.  make sure you check out her amazing work on  Instagram   This year Mandy will be judging alongside some of New Zealand's top stylists as a trainee judge. Her knowledge and talent are always expanding, and she is looking forward to sharing her knowledge with you.   What do you love about hairdressing and working at Zaibatsu? Hairdressing is my love, along with my family and friends it's my life. This forever growing industry excites me. She is originally from Central Otago (Alexandra) and began her passion in the industry when she did work experience in a barbershop in Wanaka for year 12 Gateway. She fell in love with the idea of making people look and feel good and decided to pursue hairdressing full time. Nicole is amazing at many things, but is extremely passionate about Cut and Colouring together to create an overall change and beautiful finish, she’s also currently excited about furthering her skills at complex Ombre techniques.  She is inspired and indulged by the supportive team here at Zaibatsu, we love her cheeky sense of humour and look forward all the fun times ahead. Jackson Rodeka

Jackson has been with the Zaibatsu Hair Art Family for just under two years now! His new found passion for the industry is all so inspiring, and its exciting to have him on the team, he has a passion for life!! Enjoys playing gigs in his band Ragged.

Zaibatsu Hair Art has been the best place to start my apprenticeship. Jaimee, Cody and the girls have been such a supportive team. I can’t wait to learn more and more every day as I do this and I can’t wait to be as creative and successful as my mentors.
